Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we carved our pumpkins...Blake carved a goblin and Evan (I mean Gary) carved a pumpkin munchin' spider. Gary and I took turns carving Kendall's pumpkin with her initials KJR. Blake loved cleaning out the "guts" of the pumpkins while Evan said "gross eek yuck I'm not gonna do that."

The shoe

Kendall did not sit still on the wagon ride back from the pumpkin patch. All of a sudden Gary says there's Kendall's shoe behind us on the trail. Next thing we know Gary jumps off the wagon and runs, grabs it, and runs back. People were yelling "super Dad!" It was funny and I was able to take photos while wrestling Kendall on my lap...no one yelled "super Mom" to me though.

She's thinking...why is Daddy running so fast?

Pumpkin Patch

Today we visited MacDonald's Ranch and enjoyed their pumpkin patch. The boys rode horses and we took a ride in the hay wagon out to the patch. We chose 3 large pumpkins which we'll carve on the 30th...can't carve them too early or they'll rot here in warm and sunny AZ. Kendall is walking now and wore shoes for the first time today...check the next photos to see Gary saving her shoe!

Flag football

Tonight was Blake's first flag football game. He loved it and played really well. Gary helped coach and enjoyed being out with the kids calling plays. Blake was so close to a touchdown. He says his favorite position is running back. This is where you'll find us Tuesday (practice) and Wednesday (games) nights for the next month or so.

Ten months

Kendall can walk 4-5 steps and cruises the house with her walker. She has two teeth on the bottom and we believe one on the way. There's constant drool and chewing on everything.

She loves her Daddy and when she hears his voice goes looking for him and lights up smiling when she finds him.

Kendall eats table food and wants nothing to do with baby jarred food. Amber hovers close by as she eats and Kendall usually rewards her. There's nothing she doesn't like to eat..so far she likes cantalope, apple, peaches, grapes, banana, squash, sweet potato, peas, carrots, cheese, crackers, pasta, toast..pretty much what we eat she eats.

Kendall is easily entertained, easy to get along with, and loves her red walker wagon.

It's hard to believe she'll be a year in just two months. Time flies when you're having a blast!
