We went to Flagstaff, AZ on Kendall's 2nd birthday. We went sledding and had to leave early due to a blizzard. Kendall did not like the snow. She cried and cried and cried. She was a very miserable little girl! I took her back to the car and out of the snow gear and she was once again happy! The boys loved sledding and didn't want to stop. The next day we cut down our Christmas tree near Stonewall Lake.

ASU V. UC Santa Barbara
On 12/21/09, Blake's basketball team played a scrimmage game during the ASU/UC Santa Barbara halftime. They played on the court for 6 minutes and Blake's team won by 2 points. The highlight of the night was meeting Derek Glasser after the game. He shook the kids hands and signed autographs for them. Blake told us he was never washing the hand that Glasser shook! Don't worry it was washed later that night!
Kendall's Elmo Party!
We celebrated Kendall's 2nd birthday with an Elmo themed party on December 19th. She invited some friends from her playgroup as well as our family. Gary made her Elmo cake and we had orange and red balloons and Elmo decor. It was a beautiful and sunny day so we opened presents and had cake outside. Kendall enjoyed her 2nd birthday party!

Elmo & Santa
Last night we saw Elmo at Desert Ridge Marketplace. Kendall was so excited when he came onto the stage and she waited in line to meet him. As we got closer she became more excited and then it was our turn. She backed herself against the wall and refused to go near him. The boys took their photo with him and we thought she'd stand by them. Finally Gary picked her up and they took a photo with Kendall crying. So we figured since we already traumatized her with one cartoon character that we'd go see another character good ole Saint Nick aka Santa. He was going to be at the Norterra Farmer's Market last night too. We stopped by and took a quick photo with him and again she cried. We like the parking lot background on the Santa photos!

Zoo Lights
Last night we went to Zoo Lights with Grandma, Auntie and Uncle Jeff. We had a wonderful time eating kettle corn, drinking hot chocolate, seeing the zebras and one elephant, and enjoyed the beautiful lights! It was a fun holiday event!

Kendall's two year photos
Gary and I took Kendall to Salt Lake City last Thursday. Gary had work to do there and us girls played, shopped, and hung out with great friends. My friend Andrea (http://andreakphotos.blogspot.com/) took Kendall's two year photos. It was so cold outside (temps in the 20-30s) and we braved it for about 10 minutes to do the photo shoot on day one. Kendall and Andrea's daughter Aubrey (2.5) were freezing cold. So then we tried on day two and it lasted about 15 minutes. Finally on day three Daddy came along and got her to smile. It started snowing when we were taking photos and there's some snowflakes on Kendall's green hat. I love the photos! Thank you Andrea for the amazing and beautiful photos of our little girl!

Just because...
Boys came home from school today and Blake took Kendall out of her crib. She had just woken up and was calling for "Blake Evvy." I haven't blogged for a while so thought I'd add some photos of the three eating fruit snacks and watching "Elmo's World" (Kendall's favorite show).
